In Memory Of...

KipaKipa
Kipa was born and raised on Maui and Oahu for nine years before relocating to Tucson four years ago. He loved the water and was fortunate enough to be able to swim every day while living in Hawaii. Unfortunately he developed cancer this year and along with hip displaysia - it was too much for the old timer. He is greatly missed.

WorthyWorthy
October 2006
My friend Sue recently said goodbye to her horse. She wrote, "He was a kind soul and I will miss him more than words can speak. There was a short saying I read once in a horse magazine that seems to have been written about Worthy... 'Some horses come into our lives and quickly go. Others stay a while, make hoofprints on our hearts and we are never, never the same.' I am forever changed for knowing this great horse..."

Zoe

Zoe
March 09, 2005 - April 27, 2006
For those of you who were lucky enough to encounter the sweet spirit of Zoe, those in Kansas over Christmas and those in Tucson over the last year, I have the unfortunate obligation of sharing the sad news of her passing yesterday morning at 10 am. Too smart for her own good, she managed to escape the yard with her newfound pit bull friend, Peaches, and wondered down the street 4 blocks, where she met her fate at the corner of Drachman and Park. Community effort was made to save her life, but when she arrived at the emergency vet, she no longer had a heartbeat. It is better to imagine a heaven than to not, so I believe that is where she finds herself today. Thank you all who gave her such love and appreciation in her short but happy time on this Earth.
