Why Desert Dog News?

We thought we were the minority.

Our pets are treated to better health care than we, their food costs nearly as much as ours, we plan activities and vacations were they would be welcome. Today, we're meeting more and more people like us. People whose pets play an important part of their lives. Our lives are richer and more rewarding because of our pets. They bring joy, humor and friendships into our lives. We also found that we gravitated toward other pet-people. Most of our friends own pets as well.

So we decided that Tucson needed a forum and central place for pet-related information.

We want Desert Dog News to be shaped by Tucson's community of pet people. We want to be the voice of Tucson's pet culture. Desert Dog News would like to invite the members of the Tucson's pet community to participate by either writing for the paper, submitting photos of your pet, sending us your artwork, advertising in the paper, submitting a pet-related event for our calendar, sending us your feedback or by taking our Tucson Pet Survey.
